Well this thread is just gonna turn to shit now isnt it.
While I agree it was a decent thing to do to share it between a few of us, the way you went about it was kinda wrong really. No matter what you did, someone was going to make this public. It was only a matter of time. A better way would have been to post it on a site for 24h and then delete the file. Just my opinion. kankurou you’ve basically teased everyone for what, 2 months with this track? If you weren’t allowed to share it in the first place then you should never have mentioned it at all. And now we wouldnt be in this situation. You’ve constantly undermined the staff on here and comments like “a few people in here aren’t so bright” dont exactly make you sound like an angel yourself.
This has been mentioned before, and no doubt it will be mentioned again… disrespecting the staff on here is not tolerated in any way shape or form. People have been banned from it in the past. People have decided to leave themselves because of this rule, but its one that will always be there and always will be enforced. And to be fair, if I had read the first post properly then we wouldnt be in this situation either.
So while everyone is looking to side with kankurou (and yes, I can read all your PMs…) look at the bigger picture here.
1. Yeah guess who made it public, the ADMINISTRATOR OF AN UNOFFICIAL DEADMAU5 BOARD. If admins can’t set an example, there’s no point in having them control the board. Isn’t posting a copyrighted track out the public go against some rules of yours? Do you even follow any of the rules?
2. I don’t accept staff disrespecting members of the board. I was polite to Staceylala three times, but she just continued on disrespecting me. I followed to rules of formally complaining via PM, and I was ignored. Therefore I started disrespecting the staff.
3. Your board is pretty much dying. Unless you somehow get Joel to tweet your board again for the third/fourth time, it’s pretty much dead. I don’t see why I should continue to be abused on your board any longer.
